ProcessPower for MicroMaster, ProMaster and LightBench

  • Windows-based, highly adaptable user interface
  • Synchronisation of laser firing, laser energy, beam control, and part positioning
  • Accepts industry-standard Gerber, HPGL, Excellon and *.dxf file formats
  • Through Focus Search
  • Optimum E-Search
  • Programmable milling rate

Key functions

Operate X,Y (Z) axes at selected speed with mouse or joystick.
Toggle between three pre-selected speeds.
Execute pre-selected incremental moves in X and/or Y at the selected speed.
Move to any selected absolute position with respect to a set zero position for X, Y or both simultaneously.
Measure X and Y displacements from a set zero position, in µm.
Set the current position as zero or a predefined value on the X, Y or both axes.
(Note: The power-on zero position is defined in the .INI file with respect to home switches and can be at the midpoint of X and Y axes or any other position.)
At a glance, see the X, Y map position
Select/change the mask motif with display of relevant Tool Data.
Flash up a motif preview.
Define MRA opening, with one click selection of fully open/closed positions.
(Note: For systems fittes with motorised MRA only.)
Combine MRA setting with motif selection to obtain and save a combination virtual motif.
(Note: For systems fitted with motif selector and MRA only.)
Select demag. Any new optics position can be fine-trimmed and/or automatically added to the LC calibration file.
(Note: MicroMaster only.)
Set the laser pulse repetition rate and firing burst length. See laser status at a glance.
Fire the laser from the joystick in either burst or continuous mode, and count the shots.
Fire the laser synchronously at a selected repetition rate during a continuous, incremental or combined move in X and Y independently.
(The "lazy man's" way to ablate. Very useful for ablating continuous strips without the need to write a part program.)
Perform a typical automatic milling rate sequence:
  • set shot N°
  • fire laser
  • step in X or Y
  • step N°
  • fire laser again
for N regular cycles, or set any user values of N° as required (e.g. logarithmic sequence).
Perform a typical energy search sequence:
  • set %T
  • fire laser
  • step in X or Y
  • step %T
  • fire laser again
for N regular cycles, or set any user values of N° as required (e.g. logarighmic sequence).
(Note: Systems with motorised energy control only.)
Perform a typical automatic through focus sequence:
  • define a focus step and N (odd number) from a starting position
  • back off the focus and move X or Y by (N-1)/2 steps
  • fire laser
  • step focus and X or Y position
  • fire laser again
  • repeat until the sequence is complete
  • return to the starting point
(Note: Systems with motorised energy control only.)
Generate a rectangular array of selected motifs/process parameters.
Trepan (generate circular paths of the selected motif/process parameters) with optional inner/outer offset lead-in.
Mark laser firing point.
Bring any point to the laser firing point by one mouse click.
Use Click&Shoot to define and process points, lines or areas by clicking and dragging.
Import Gerber, HPGL, Excellon and *.dxf files, and convert them into executable format by adding laser firing instructions, as required, with selection of average shot number in different CAD layers.
Optimise the path to drill a set of N holes.
Execute process files using pause, continue, abort, repeat functions.
Set brightness and contrast of CCTV display, zoom display, save screen image to file.
Measure features with µm precision using video cursor.
Toggle between and operate Theta/Phi axes selecting speed, increment, etc.
